Describing the 10 track set as ‘something different and fresh’, Andrew Tosh, the son of the late reggae artiste Peter Tosh, will on September 28 release Legacy, his seventh studio album. Legacy, an acoustic ten track opus will feature covers of the elder Tosh’s more popular recordings. Ky-Mani Marley is featured on Lessons in Life, while Bunny Wailer makes a guest appearance on I Am.

Ash's feature will concentrate on the year Marley spent living in London in 1977. This was a crucial year for Marley. He'd fled Jamaica after an attempt was made on his life; the year ended with him sustaining a soccer injury which eventually triggered full-blown cancer.

This morning, the news of the death of well known entertainer Jermaine Forrester announced. A member of his family has confirmed that he died in an accident in New York. He was struck by an SUV, which later fled the scene. He was the nephew of popular musician and businessman Phillip Forrester, and cousin of recording artist Jaicko.

A trial date has been set for Jamaican dancehall star, Bounty Killer, who is fighting firearm and wounding charges. Bounty, born Rodney Pryce, is set to stand trial in the Gun Court in Kingston on October 20th. The singer, who became popular internationally for his collaboration with the group No Doubt, is charged along with former police constable Collis Bowen.
