NOTE: As of December 2004 the band Square One is no longer together. Alison Hinds is currently pursuing her solo career and mother-hood. While the other members formed a new band named" Square Roots" along with newcomer Keann Walters.

Square One is perhaps the most dynamic and well-respected band in the Caribbean region to date, the band has been together for 17 years representing Barbados and the entire West Indies.

Square One has had the pleasure of touring many countries all over the world in such locations as: Trinidad, Barbados, Australia, South Africa, New York, London, Guyana, Guatalema, etc. The Magnificent seven started out by working the hotel scene back in Barbados. The band continues to grow stronger with each and every passing day.

Square One has been referred to as the Ambassadors of Soca Music worldwide.

Square One was made up of seven members:

Alison Hinds, Andy Armstrong, Cecil Riley, George Jones, Paul Slater, Terry Arthur, and Winston Beckles.
